We see our role in community action as supporting grassroots community based organizations, particularly in rural communities. We are committed to creating a network of such groups and businesses to advocate for sustainable economic development in Washington State.

Associated Organizations

We support community organizations by acting as a fiscal sponsor or by offering organizational support and technical assistance.

Sustainable Networks

The Institute is actively following several bills regarding biofuels and renewable energy. The Institute supports legislation which creates effective state support for the sustainable development of energy from all resources through advanced technologies, creative financing, and innovative organizations. We look forward to the day when a network of organizations advocating for sustainable economic develop grows out of these efforts.
